World Trade Centre Area and Burj Dubai
Dubai's business district stretches along a few miles of Sheikh Zayed Road, and holds within it the World Trade Center, DIFC and the city's new Downtown. Cutting-edge towers flank both sides of the multi-lane highway, and layered behind are luxury hotels, exhibition and convention centers, dining districts, and of course, shopping malls. It's an area of concrete, glass, and steel, exactly the Dubai we now see featured in Hollywood blockbuster sci-fis, modern, mammoth, and shiny.
